Need a hand with your account, your player profile, or a subscription? Everything you need is on this page, and a real person reads every message you send us.

Accounts

Creating an account

Tap Sign Up on the sign-in screen and choose whether you are a player, or a coach, scout or agent. You need to be at least 13 years old to register, and if you are under 18 a parent or guardian must review and agree to our terms first.

Forgotten password

Tap Forgot password? on the sign-in screen and enter your email address. A reset link will be sent to you. If it does not arrive within a few minutes, check your spam folder before contacting us.

Changing your details

Open the side menu, go to your profile, and edit your name, contact details or profile information at any time.

Deleting your account

You can have your account and personal data deleted at any time. Full instructions, including what is deleted and how long it takes, are on our account deletion page.

Player profiles

Claiming your profile

If you already appear in our database, you can claim that profile as your own. Search for your name during signup or from your profile settings, select the record that matches you, and confirm your date of birth so we can verify the claim. Claims are reviewed before they are approved.

My profile is missing or the information is wrong

Use the profile review request option in the app to tell us what needs correcting, or email us with the player name, team and league. We will look into it and correct our records where the information is wrong.

Uploading video

Players on eligible plans can add an interview clip and game film. You can record inside the app or choose an existing file from your device. If an upload fails, check that you are on a stable connection and that the file is an MP4, MOV or WebM video, then try again.

Uploaded video is visible only to signed-in users on a paid subscription. It is never published to the open web. You can remove a video from your profile at any time.

Who can see my contact details?

Nobody. Your phone number, contact email and representative's details are never displayed on your profile or shown to other users. See our Privacy Policy for the full detail on what is visible and to whom.

Subscriptions and credits

What the free plan includes

You can browse the database, search and filter players, and view core profile information without paying. Full AI scouting reports, deeper team and league analysis, and player profile video are part of the paid plans.

Credits

Generating an AI report uses credits. Your remaining balance is shown in the app, along with your usage history. If you run out, you can top up or move to a plan with a larger monthly allowance.

Billing problems

If you were charged unexpectedly, cannot access something you have paid for, or want a refund, email us with the date and amount of the charge and we will sort it out.

Troubleshooting

• A report will not generate — check your connection and your remaining credit balance. Reports stream in over a few seconds; leaving the screen does not cancel them.
• The app will not load data — confirm you are online, then close and reopen the app. If it persists, tell us your device and app version.
• Camera or gallery access is not working — these permissions are optional and requested only when you record or pick a video. If you declined earlier, you can re-enable them in your device settings under the Basketball Atlas app.
• Something looks wrong in the data — tell us the player, team or league and what is incorrect. We would rather hear about it.

Privacy and your data

Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect, how it is used, who it is shared with, how long it is kept, and the rights you have over it. To exercise any of those rights, or to ask a privacy question, email dean.mazlish@basketballatlas.com.

If you are the parent or guardian of a user under 18, you can contact us at the same address to review, correct or delete your child's information.
